Thought I would add this to my blog. It is not part of my course but I was asked my friend Kylie, to design an invitation for a ladies day (in memory of her great friend) at the local rugby union club. Dizey was a great friend to all involved in the club and I was privileged to have met her and enjoy her wonderful personality not long before she passed away. With her in mind I designed the above invite - the feminine colour of pink, spring blossoms gives you a feeling of new life and happy sunshine and I was also told that she loved dragonflies, so I thought they went really well buzzing around the flowers. I was really happy to be asked to do this not only for the experience but to participate in a great cause. If anyone is interested incoming - please do. I can tell you that it is a really fun day - haven't missed one yet!!
